Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the flatbread on the baking sheet and top it with an even layer of olive oil, covering most of the flatbread (leave about a quarter inch around the edges bare). Then, top evenly with minced garlic.
In a small bowl, combine the mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese. Sprinkle evenly over the flatbread. Then, top the flatbread with the crushed caesar croutons.
Bake until the cheese is golden and bubbly, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Finally, top the pizza with chopped lettuce, caesar dressing, and shredded parmesan cheese before slicing and serving.
Notes
Ingredients:
Note that you’ll need a cooking-grade olive oil, not extra virgin olive oil, for this flatbread. Since it bakes at a higher temperature, it’s best to use a low grade olive oil that can withstand higher temperatures. The flavor of extra virgin olive oil can be compromised if it’s heated too much.
We recommend buying a block of parmesan cheese for this recipe, since you’ll use it in two forms. Having both textures really makes this flatbread feel extra fancy!
To crush the Caesar croutons, you can place them in a ziploc bag, wrap the bag in a rag, and then use the flat side of a meat tenderizer to gently pound them into smaller pieces.
Use your favorite store bought caesar salad dressing. We love the creaminess of Marie’s - it’s the perfect texture for drizzling.
Adding chicken: If you’d like to make this caesar salad flatbread more filling, you can easily add grilled chicken to it! Try using something like our zesty lemon marinated chickenor a plain, store bought grilled chicken breast, sliced into thin strips. Add the chicken on top of the flatbread with the crushed croutons in Step 3, before baking.Serving suggestions: One caesar salad flatbread is a great size lunch or dinner for one, or a lighter dinner for two. Pair it with an appetizer like chicken wings or follow it up with a dessert for a more filling meal for two. Or, add chicken for a higher protein caesar salad flatbread that will keep you full longer!Leftovers: Dressed Caesar salad on top of flatbread doesn't keep the best as leftovers, so we recommend only making as much as you're going to eat in one sitting. If you do want to try storing leftovers, place the flatbread in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 1 day - just note that it may be slightly soggy and wilted.
