If your butter isn't already at room temp, let it sit on the counter for 30 to 60 minutes to soften.
Combine the softened butter with the maple syrup in a bowl and stir to incorporate well.
Use immediately or store in the fridge for up to 1 month.

You want to make sure to use a real maple syrup as it provides all the flavor for your spread, not something ultra-processed and sugary (that doesn't even contain real maple!) like Log Cabin or Pearl Milling Co.If you haven’t ever had the chance to do a maple syrup tasting, we highly recommend it.
